Hacienda Village has multiple clubs and organizations staffed by volunteers offering opportunities to socialize. The Social Club sponsors a major dinner/dance at the Club House nearly every month. There is a non-denominational Worship Service each Sunday and there is Bingo once a week. Community breakfasts and lunches are sponsored by the Men’s Club and the Helping Hands group. Other activities include an Exercise Group, Bunco, Men’s Poker, Ladies Bingo, Euchre, RSVP, Koffee Klatch, Crafts, Men’s Club Night Out, Gun Club and Potluck. Also, the Winter Springs Senior Center is located about a half a mile from Hacienda Village. The Senior Center has a large heated indoor pool and a full calendar of events. Many Hacienda Village residents participate in bus trips and tours sponsored by the Senior Center.

The city of Winter Springs was originally incorporated as North Orlando in 1959 with about 600 residents.
